We Are Not the Focus of the USA”: Zelensky Made a Statement About the End of the War
Zelensky explained why negotiations to end the war are delayed.

President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the issue of Ukraine is currently not a top priority for the USA, and the negotiation process regarding the end of the war is progressing slower than Kyiv had expected.
This was stated by the head of state during a joint meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on June 3.
According to Zelensky, Ukraine is still waiting for the arrival of the American negotiating team, but the process is being delayed due to other international crises.
"Unfortunately, today we are not in focus. In my opinion, the issue of Iran is currently number one for the USA. After that comes Ukraine. We are effectively in line behind these wars," noted the president.
At the same time, Zelensky emphasized that the United States has the greatest influence on Russia and can compel Vladimir Putin to agree to end the war.
Ukraine Supports Any Format of Negotiations
The president underscored that Ukraine supports any format of negotiations if it helps to achieve peace more quickly.
"For us, the main thing is to end the war. And there is no alternative to that. That is why I have repeatedly said: we are ready for any format. I am ready for direct negotiations with Putin if it helps to end the war faster, rather than waiting for the world to sort out all other conflicts," stated Zelensky.
He also emphasized that the most effective option for Ukraine would be the joint participation of the USA and other international partners, including the EU, in the negotiations, as the war is taking place on the European continent.
